Obama Nominates Michael P. O’Rielly to FCC | Variety:

 "O’Rielly has been policy adviser to Cornyn, and before that, to Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Arizona). He previously worked for the Republican Policy Committee in the U.S. Senate as a Policy Analyst for Banking, Technology, Transportation, Trade, and Commerce issues from 2009 to 2010. He also worjed as legislative director for Sen. John Sununu (R-N.H.) from 2007 to 2009 and as senior legislative assistant from 2003 to 2007. He also had been a staffer on the House Energy and Commerce Committee from 1998 to 2003, and was a telecommunications policy analyst from 1995 to 1998."
