i start-up my Mozilla Firefox browser
 i am then presented with a link/advertisement
promoting FireFox's Android app.

i decide to download the app for my tablet.
 an pop-up presents the following:

=========================================================================
This application has access to the following:

    Hardware controls:
    take pictures and videos
    Your location:
    fine (GPS) location
    Network communication:
    full Internet access
    Storage:
    modify/delete USB storage contents modify/delete SD card contents
    System tools:
    prevent device from sleeping,
    change network connectivity
=========================================================================

so the question i have is this:
why does Mozilla need the ability
 to take pictures and shoot videos
 with my smartphone?

and, more to the point,
 how does this help me?

?huh?
