NASA's Kepler Announces 11 Planetary Systems Hosting 26 Planets - Mainpage: ""Prior to the Kepler mission, we knew of perhaps 500 exoplanets across the whole sky," said Doug Hudgins, Kepler program scientist at NASA Headquarters in Washington.
